Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site / hybrid role based in Jacksonville, FL, for an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Specialist - Administration. The EHS Specialist will be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and regulations. Daily tasks include managing compliance databases, reviewing workplace safety assessments, providing feedback to field level reports safety training, addressing occupational health concerns, developing and maintaining EHS programs, and supporting initiatives to improve workplace safety conditions. The role also entails collaborating with teams to create a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health practices
- Heavy Administrative Skills are required with AI integration
- Proficiency in Workplace Safety standards and Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to conduct Safety Training programs and effectively communicate safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify risks and develop mitigation solutions
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and regulatory inspections is an asset
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations or similar occupational health and safety standards
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
