Senior Mechanical Engineer – IEC 60601 / Thermal & FEA
📍 Location: Dublin, CA
⏳ Contract Duration: 12 Months
💰 Rate: $50/hour on W2
💼 Experience Required: 10 Years
Key Requirements
- End-to-end product development experience, from requirements through manufacturing, preferably in smaller companies.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD, FEA, thermal analysis, airflow analysis, and heat modeling.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFS, electrical insulation, and IEC 60601 compliance.
- Experience with BOMs, ECOs, supplier coordination, procurement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including:
- Machining
- Injection molding
- Die casting
- Sheet metal
- Tool design
- Ability to independently manage projects across the complete product lifecycle.
Education
🎓 Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
