Duties
- Greet guests warmly with professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests promptly.
- Check guests in and out accurately using hotel management software, verifying reservation details and payment information.
- Provide comprehensive guest services, including answering questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Handle night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions, update records, and prepare reports for management review.
- Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns swiftly and professionally, ensuring every visitor feels valued and cared for.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve guest issues and ensure rooms meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and proficiency with multi-line phone systems.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel operations is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to manage reservations, guest requests, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Ability to remain energetic and positive during high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism at all times.
