Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service.
- Serve food items, handle cash transactions, and manage cashiering duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary options, and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient order fulfillment.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and café maintenance to uphold quality standards.
- Versatile position with coordinating both coffee making and customer services.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles within cafés or restaurants.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
