Job Summary
I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregiver to provide high-quality personal care and support to a senior male with ALS. You will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and be able to promote a comfortable and respectful environment.
Must pass fingerprint and background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating.
- Be able to cook and feed snacks.
- Provide attentive senior care, including companionship and emotional support.
- Support patient transfer methods safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns to family.
- Maintain cleanliness of the living environment and assist with light housekeeping.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Qualifications
- Prior experience in elderly or personal caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient transfer methods and safe handling techniques.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience.
- Ability to handle physical tasks involved in caregiving duties.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
Pay: $11.25 - $13.00 per hour
