What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher position at Rising Stars Day Care and Learning Center?
We are looking to hire an attentive childcare teacher to perform all duties necessary to ensure that children’s basic needs and education are taken care of. The childcare teacher’s responsibilities include
- Maintaining order in their classroom
- Maintain progress reports of all children under your care
- Cultivate a safe and loving environment that is conducive to growth and learning.
- Curriculum planning
- Interacting with the children such as engaging their imaginations.
- Communicating with families
- Must be able to lift 25 plus pounds, requires more standing thab sitting.
**Spanish Speaking Huge Plus**
Work experience must be a minimum of 1 year experience in a childcare setting.
You must be able to pose an Associate's degree with 6 ECE hours, or CDA and DCFS required trainings.

Buscamos contratar a un educador(a) infantil atento(a) para realizar todas las tareas necesarias que garanticen la atención de las necesidades básicas y la educación de los niños. Las responsabilidades del puesto incluyen:
- Mantener el orden en el aula.
- Llevar un registro del progreso de todos los niños a su cargo.
- Fomentar un entorno seguro y afectuoso que propicie el crecimiento y el aprendizaje.
- Planificar el plan de estudios (currículo). Interactuar con los niños, estimulando su imaginación.
- Comunicarse con las familias.
- Capacidad para levantar más de 25 libras (aprox. 11 kg); el puesto requiere pasar más tiempo de pie que sentado.
**Se valorará muy positivamente el dominio del idioma español.**
Se requiere un mínimo de 1 año de experiencia laboral en un entorno de cuidado infantil.
Es necesario contar con un título de asociado (Associate's degree) que incluya 6 horas de formación en educación infantil temprana (ECE), o bien una credencial CDA y haber completado la formación exigida por el DCFS.
