Program Manager Mid Level ABA (School-Based)

Rising Star Sped Academy is a fast-growing network of specialized Non-Public Schools serving students with autism and other developmental disabilities. We combine academic instruction with evidence-based behavioral supports in an inclusive, high-growth environment. We are expanding our in-house ABA programs to better serve our students across all campuses.

Position Summary

The Program Manager (ABA) plays a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality, school-based ABA services across assigned classrooms. This individual will oversee behavior intervention staff, implement treatment plans designed by BCBAs, and ensure fidelity to individualized education and behavior programs. The ideal candidate brings a balance of clinical insight, team leadership, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Behavior Technicians (BTs), ensuring effective implementation of student behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Collaborate with on-site BCBA and educational staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Conduct skills training and performance feedback sessions with interventionists
• Oversee daily ABA data collection and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist in onboarding and training of new ABA staff
• Support crisis management and assist with behavior de-escalation when needed
• Maintain frequent communication with the BCBA and school administration
• Lead classroom coverage and direct care support as needed
• Ensure services meet standards for quality, timeliness, and integrity
• Participate in team meetings, parent training sessions, and IEPs as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field (required)
• At least 2 years of experience providing ABA services, including 1 year in a leadership role
• RBT certification needed; Enrollment in a Master's Program is a requirement.
• Strong skills in data collection, behavior plan implementation, and staff supervision
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative school setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background check, TB test, and meet school safety standards

Work Environment & Schedule

• School-based hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 8 AM–3:00 PM
• Additional time for team meetings, training, and documentation as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $30-$35 per hour. Dependent on experience
