What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Audit Clerk position at Rising Star Casino?
Fun, fast-paced, day-shift opportunity! Revenue auditors are responsible for recording all of our daily revenue.Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for creating and enjoying a fun work environment
- Responsible for encouraging positive inspiration in the workplace
- Complete daily audits and checklists for all revenue generating outlets. These include but are not limited to Food & Beverage outlets, gift shop, golf course, slots, table games, W2-G and sportsbook operations.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with Internal Controls
- Compares the total of all forms to the information listed on the Cash Balance Sheets.
- Track and report variances to the departments where the variance is created
- Accounts for the numerical sequence in the numeric control log of all gaming related documents.
- File all documents for period of time requested by IGC.
- Maintain all revenue reports from various systems
- Perform other projects and duties, as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun working environment
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and problem solving
- Must have the ability to interpret written instructions from various formats including Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and Indiana Code (IAC 68).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License – Level 2
