Skills Development Professional

• Pay $15-$17 an hour (depending on experience)
• Job Type: Part-time or Full-time
• Shift and Schedule: Weekdays Monday-Fridays 4-8 hours shift
  
  

Position Roles And Responsibilities

• Support clients or individuals on a daily schedule focusing on planned group topics that cover areas in social skills, self-care, coping skills, and community connection
• Assist with leading core skills groups during daily activities such as Socials Skills Group, Self-care Group, Coping Skills Group, Community Connections Group and Free-Choice
• Assist with clients needs and be a reliable support system
• Deescalated or redirect clients in difficult situations
• Flexibility in attending community outings with clients or individuals
• Assist clients with learning daily life tasks such as cooking, cleaning, scheduling activities
• Build and strengthen life skills
  
  

Teach and promote self advocacy skills to clients or individuals also encourage respectful and safe peer to peer environments

Complete required daily notes for clients and individuals as this is mandatory

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
