This is a paid, part-time coaching position that includes a structured onboarding and shadowing/training period designed to help you become a confident, effective fitness coach.
You’ll gain real, hands-on experience working with clients of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels-while getting paid and supported every step of the way.
Position Overview:
- Role Type: Part-Time Fitness Coach.
- Training Period: paid, hands-on onboarding
- Schedule: 1-2 shifts per week to start (2–3 hours per shift)
- Location: In-person Valley Cottage, NY
- Compensation:
- Starting at $15/hour increasing to $30/ hr after training
- Additional earning opportunities through coaching, Personal Training and ad hoc assignments.
Earning Potential:
- Personal Training Sessions: Earn commission.
(Typical earnings: $60-$100 per session). - Opportunities to grow your income as your client base grows.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support small group training sessions (up to 12 clients).
- Coach clients through safe, effective workouts.
- Modify exercises for different abilities, injuries, and experience levels.
- Build relationships and create a positive, supportive training environment.
- Communicate with and support clients both in-person and virtually.
