Position Summary:
The Manager, Software Development and Integrations is a hands-on leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions and system integrations across the organization. This working manager leads a team of developers while actively contributing to coding, architecture, and technical problem-solving. The role ensures scalable, secure, and efficient integration between internal and external systems that support business operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of software developers.
- Actively design, develop, test, and maintain application code and system integrations.
- Oversee integration architecture between internal platforms, third-party systems, and external partners.
- Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, source control, and documentation protocols.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation.
- Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and data security.
Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of experience (or more) including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in software development and system integrations.
- Prior experience leading or managing development teams.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and integration frameworks (e.g., C#, React, Node.js, TypeScript, SQL).
- Experience with APIs, data exchange protocols, and enterprise system architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary position. Requires the ability to hear, type and talk. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. The primary work location is a corporate office with low to moderate noise levels. Appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.
