RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-Time Substance Abuse Specialist to join the Mobile SUD Team in Copiague, NY
REPORTS TO: Project Director
DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) of Credentialed Alcohol or Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). A valid and clean NY State driver license. Minimum 1 years of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health/Office of Addiction Services and Supports.
JOB FUNCTION:
Provide direct services with a focus on substance abuse recovery and harm reduction on a mobile, multi-disciplinary treatment team for persons with substance use diagnoses who identify as members of the LGBTQA Community. Provide counseling, restorative services, and crisis intervention and assist clients in coordination of care to avoid hospitalizations and unnecessary care.
