Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

RiseWell Community Services is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Clinical Department, working in RiseWell’s new branch of Substance Use Services in the Comprehensive Outpatient Program. Our Comprehensive Outpatient Program is a crucial addition to the county in treating and helping individuals struggling with opioid addiction manage withdrawal symptoms and allow them to focus on recovery.

In this role, you will be providing management and counseling to a caseload of program members, in conjunction with the psychiatrist and registered nurse. As a part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to treating persons with substance use disorders, you’ll be working to improve the health and quality of life of a caseload of program members.

QUALIFICATIONS: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department. Minimum 1 year of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting preferred. Valid and clean New York State driver's license. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, and approval from OASAS. Strong interpersonal skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills
