On-Site General Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX 78254
Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year
Employment Status: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking an On-Site General Manager for a single-family community with 2,350 units in northwest San Antonio (Shaenfield). This role serves as the liaison between the homeowners’ association (HOA) and residents, overseeing community policies, financial management, and resident relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners as needed.
• Provide a weekly Management Report to the Board of Directors. 
• Complete regular facility inspections for maintenance and deed restriction matters.
• Preparation for Board Meeting materials, bid comparisons, and other documents needed for presentations.
• Respond to all calls/emails within 24 hours of receipt.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of state and regulatory agency statutes and the community's documents, policies, and procedures.
• Provides administrative, operational, and managerial support to the board.
• Build and foster positive relationships with residents to ensure a high level of service, timely and complete resolution of resident concerns, good communications, and continuous improvement in services for the community.
• Displays exceptional ability to analyze and deal with a variety of situations that otherwise could be potential problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• At least 2 years of property management experience.
• General understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong data entry skills.

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

Additional Information:

• All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
• FLSA Status: Exempt
• Status: Full-Time
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• The majority of work will be seated, but requires standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Typical Working Conditions:

• Primarily indoor work.
• May require working at any time of the day, evening, or night, including weekends.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year.
