Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in a supportive and dynamic work environment.
- Evaluation and treatment are to be thorough, comprehensive, and customized to each patient's needs, ensuring outcomes are accomplished consistent with company policy and procedures.
- Carry out skilled therapy interventions while maintaining consistent communication with physical therapist assistants regarding the evaluated patients' treatment and progress.
- Record and document patient care services thoroughly and accurately
- Input billing charges accurately and appropriately
- Report on patient progress through appropriate written documentation. Follow all established policies and procedures for documentation regarding timelines and billing completion.
- Determine appropriateness of patient's response to treatment and make necessary modifications to plan of care.
- Not only will you supervise treating physical therapist assistant(s), but also will support the Clinic Manager and perform other duties as assigned, ensuring that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.
- Interact with all patients, families, customers, visitors and fellow employees in a mature, responsible, courteous manner to ensure a positive and professional environment.
- Your work schedule will be on a part- time basis that may vary based on patient volume and clinic need, as appropriate, with potential to progress to full-time if desired.
Job Qualifications/Skills:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Texas - required
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR / BLS Certification - required
- 1 year experience in the outpatient setting - preferred
