Role Description
Rise Therapy Center is one of the most referred-to practices for reunification therapy in Metro Atlanta. We have a highly respected reunification process and are pioneers in the field. The legal and clinical community trust us with their most difficult cases..The Reunification and Family Therapist will provide therapeutic support to families and individuals focusing on improving relationships, communication, and resolving conflicts. Reunification therapy is intense. It involves work with families in high-conflict situations—often court-involved—navigating complex dynamics to bridge the gap between parents and children. You will be dealing with strong personalities, legal nuances, and high-stakes emotional environments.
Responsibilities include conducting family therapy sessions, facilitating reunification processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other professionals involved in a client’s care. The therapist will also develop tailored treatment plans and provide case management to support family and individual goals. This is a full-time on-site role based in Roswell, GA, with some opportunities for remote sessions.
Qualifications
- Expertise in family therapy with high-conflict parents
- Comfort maintaining firm boundaries and remaining neutral in the face of intense family pressure.
- Proficient in case management with the ability to coordinate client care effectively
- Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
- Current licensure or working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia.
- Experience in trauma-informed care and working with diverse family dynamics is a plus
