Location: Emporia, VA (commutable from Richmond, Hampton Roads, Roanoke and surrounding areas)

Are you a Tooling professional with a background in injection moulding who is looking for a standalone, high-impact role where your expertise genuinely drives the business forward?

This is a well established manufacturer with millions of dollars committed to new equipment and major production launches underway, this is a company that is genuinely growing. The US site operates independently, has a second facility, and is building toward expanding its tooling capability. The person who steps in now will be at the centre of that growth.

You will be the tooling expert. Working hands-on alongside a close-knit maintenance team, you will manage tool repair, maintenance, and new tooling projects from start to finish. You will represent the US in tool builds with overseas partners and play a key role in supporting high-profile new production launches.

This role would suit a seasoned Tooling or Mould Making professional looking for a position where their knowledge shapes the department — someone who wants less bureaucracy, more autonomy, and a genuine stake in what gets built next.

The Role:

• Sole Tooling Specialist for a growing US injection moulding operation — full ownership of the function
• Hands-on tool repair, maintenance, and new tooling project management supporting active production launches
• Growing Dallas, NC facility will create future leadership opportunity as tooling needs expand

The Candidate:

• Mould making experience with a strong background in injection moulding tooling projects
• Thorough understanding of mould manufacturing concepts — venting, fitting, interlocking
• Looking for an autonomous role with lots of progression available
