Are you a Test Engineer looking to work on complex defense projects, where you can build deep technical expertise through extensive internal training and progress long-term within a growing engineering business?
On offer is a technically varied, hands-on role focused on automated test solutions for rugged embedded and electronic systems. You’ll work across high-reliability military and aerospace products, partnering closely with design engineers to validate performance and troubleshoot issues on new and legacy equipment.
You’ll be joining an established defense electronics business known for delivering high-quality work on mission-critical systems. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an experienced Test Engineer to support system validation, automated testing, and sustainment across a range of technically challenging programs.
In this role you’ll design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions, create procedures and fixtures, run functional/performance/environmental testing, and analyze test data to support qualification and verification. You’ll also support troubleshooting and reverse engineering activity on legacy systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with electronics/embedded/ATE test experience who wants technical development, greater ownership, and a clear route to progress.
The Role:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for electronic/embedded systems (on-site)
- Develop test procedures, fixtures, and processes for high-reliability products
- Perform functional, performance, environmental, and qualification testing
- Analyze test data and support troubleshooting, reverse engineering, and legacy test sustainment
The Person:
- Experience developing and performing testing for embedded systems, electronics, or automated test equipment (ATE)
- Automated test development experience with hardware interfaces, instrumentation, or data acquisition
- Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or similar automation tools (highly desirable)
