Are you a Project Manager from a fire protection, fire alarm, life safety, or sprinkler systems background, looking to take ownership of high-value commercial fire protection projects with an industry-leading organisation?

This is an exciting opportunity to take full responsibility for the delivery of major fire protection projects, from initial planning and estimating through to installation, commissioning, and completion. You'll have the autonomy to manage resources, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and lead project delivery, while benefiting from specialist training and a clear progression route to Master Project Manager.

In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of commercial fire protection installation, service, and design-build projects across New York City. Working between the office and project sites, you will manage project schedules, labour, budgets, estimating, and productivity, while coordinating closely with Field Service Managers, technicians, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards. You'll also maintain strong client relationships, oversee project documentation, monitor project performance, and provide leadership across multiple live projects.

This role would suit a Project Manager from a fire protection, fire alarm, sprinkler systems, or life safety background, looking for greater autonomy, the opportunity to deliver major commercial projects, and a clear pathway into senior leadership.

The Role:

• Overseeing the full lifecycle of commercial fire protection projects, including fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, and life safety system installation, service, and design-build work.
• Managing labour, estimating, costing, budgets, and productivity while directing project coordinators, technicians, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
• Working with Field Service Managers to coordinate resources, manage project schedules, ensure compliance with applicable fire codes and safety requirements, and maintain strong client relationships.

The Candidate:

• Project management background within fire protection, fire alarm, sprinkler systems, or life safety, with estimating and costing experience.
• Experience overseeing full project lifecycles, coordinating installation and service teams, and managing commercial client relationships.
• Strong understanding of fire protection systems, project specifications, construction drawings, and relevant codes and standards, with experience in commercial construction or design-build environments.
