In this role, you'll play a leading part in the design and development of industrial machinery, mechanical powertrain systems and fabricated equipment. You'll design complex weldments and machined components, carry out mechanical analysis including stress calculations and FEA where required, whilst collaborating closely with systems engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality manufacturing solutions from concept through to production.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with Industrial Manufacturing experience looking for greater autonomy, technical ownership and a clear pathway into engineering leadership within a stable and expanding organisation.

The Role:

• Design and develop industrial equipment, fabricated machinery and mechanical powertrain systems.
• Produce manufacturing drawings, perform mechanical analysis and support component selection throughout projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions from concept through production.

The Candidate:

• Strong mechanical design background with experience using Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience designing fabricated equipment, weldments and mechanical systems with knowledge of pneumatics and stress analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
