This company have an outstanding reputation for innovation, collaboration, and long-term investment into the US transmission grid. With multiple major projects in development, they are seeking an Environmental Manager to support projects in Arizona.
You’ll take ownership of environmental compliance during construction, oversee contractors, manage regulatory obligations, and serve as a key local representative with agencies, Tribes, landowners, and stakeholders.
This opportunity would suit an Environmental Manager with strong construction experience, deep familiarity with Arizona’s landscape and stakeholders, and a passion for supporting complex transmission projects through execution.
The Role:
• Manage environmental compliance for major transmission projects during construction
• Develop and implement construction-phase environmental plans and monitoring protocols
• Coordinate with contractors, agencies, Tribes, and landowners to integrate environmental requirements
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and oversee consultants during project execution
The Candidate:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in environmental or related field with experience in permitting/compliance
• Strong transmission, pipeline or wind experience; construction-phase experience essential
• Already based in Arizona with strong familiarity of landowners, agencies, and local stakeholders
• Skilled in NEPA, ESA, NHPA, and communication with agencies, Tribes, and community stakeholders
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
