Are you an Electrical, Electronics, or Controls Engineer looking to take the next step into management, with the opportunity to lead complex projects, develop customer relationships, and take ownership of a technical service team?

This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the full delivery of commissioning and service projects, while leading field service resources, developing your team, and becoming a key technical point of contact for customers across a range of industrial equipment and engineered systems.

This established organisation provides specialist engineered equipment and technical solutions to industrial customers, with a strong focus on technical expertise, customer support, and long-term relationships. This role offers the opportunity for an experienced engineer to transition into management, with the autonomy to improve service processes, develop people, and take ownership of project delivery.

In this role, you will take ownership of commissioning and service projects, working closely with customers and field service support on CAPEX orders while managing resources, schedules, budgets, troubleshooting, and project delivery. You'll also support technician utilisation, safety, training, and field performance, giving you genuine ownership of both the projects you deliver and the team supporting them.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, or Electronics Engineer, looking to move into an exciting leadership role and take ownership of a variety of complex engineering, service, and continuous improvement projects.

The Role:

• Taking ownership of commissioning and service projects, managing delivery, budgets, resources, customer communication, troubleshooting, and project scope.
• Leading and developing service resources, coordinating technician schedules while supporting utilisation, safety, training, and overall field performance.
• Building strong customer relationships and working with sales teams to identify opportunities across upgrades, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and other service activities.

The Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with industrial machinery, industrial systems, engineered equipment, or automation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to understand electrical, electronic and control systems, and interpret technical drawings
