The company is a global manufacturer with continued investment in automation, technology, and employee development. Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking to add an Automation Engineer to their team.
This position would suit someone with PLC programming experience who enjoys a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you can significantly progress your career.
The Role:
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled automation systems (Allen Bradley)
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform troubleshooting across production lines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
- Work closely with maintenance and electrical teams
- 2-2-3 night shift schedule (7pm-7am)
The Person:
- PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Background in automation, controls, electrical engineering or industrial maintenance
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working a night shift schedule
