Are you an Application Engineer with experience providing technical sales support in a pre-sales environment, looking for a role offering significant customer interaction, technical variety, and the opportunity to travel?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operation, where you will play a key role supporting sales activities, developing technical solutions, and working closely with customers, partners, engineering, and marketing teams.
Working alongside experienced sales and engineering professionals, you will provide technical expertise throughout the sales process, while developing your knowledge across networking, RFID, printing, software, and industrial technology.
In this hands-on role, you will engage with prospective customers to understand their requirements, develop and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, troubleshoot technical issues, and help remove technical obstacles to successful sales.
This role would suit an Application Engineer, Sales/Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or similar technical professional with experience supporting customers and sales teams, particularly within networking, RFID, industrial technology, printing, or related environments, looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing company.
The Role:
- Provide technical support to sales teams and customers, responding to technical inquiries and helping develop solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and design, develop, and present product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
- Test and troubleshoot products and applications, document findings, and work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
- Maintain knowledge of competing technologies and support technical requirements throughout the sales process.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with 3–5 years of applications/pre-sales support experience.
- Software programming experience
- Experience with RFID technologies
- Experience with enterprise networking, including Wireshark, wireless LAN, network security, vulnerability scanning, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel internationally up to 50%.
