Position Summary
Rise Radio LLC is a Marietta-based provider of in-store media solutions (internet radio, music on hold, and digital signage) serving national retail co-ops. We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-directed Part-Time Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator to manage day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeper who thrives in a small-business environment and is comfortable owning financial processes.
Core Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Transaction Management
- Enter and categorize all financial transactions in Zoho Books accurately and on a timely basis
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
- Interface with corporate accounting teams
- Maintain organized digital records of receipts, invoices, and financial documents
- Prepare monthly financial summaries for review by the Director of Operations
Invoicing & Accounts Receivable
- Generate and send invoices to clients on established billing cycles
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on past-due invoices
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies with clients and co-op partners
- Maintain accurate records of all client payment activity
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
- Process payments to vendors and contractors (design services, software subscriptions, hardware suppliers, etc.)
- Track contractor and commission payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain vendor contact records and payment terms
Co-op Advertising Administration
- Prepare and submit co-op documentation for advertising campaigns
- Track co-op credits, reimbursements, and compliance deadlines
- Reconcile co-op advertising accounts and resolve discrepancies with co-op contacts
Payroll & HR Administration
- Coordinate payroll processing through the company's PEO platform
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with Georgia employment requirements
- Serve as day-to-day liaison with PEO for routine HR and benefits questions
Qualifications Required
- 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small-business environment
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (Zoho Books experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Comfort managing multiple entities within the same role
- Reliable follow-through on recurring tasks and deadlines
- Professional communication skills for client and vendor interactions
Preferred
- Experience with payroll processing through a PEO or similar platform
- Familiarity with co-op advertising programs or retail distribution channels
- Comfort working in a technology-forward environment (cloud tools, digital workflows)
Work Environment
This is a part-time, in-person position averaging 8 to 16 hours per week with flexible scheduling. The role is based at the Rise Radio office in Marietta, GA. Rise Radio is a small, relationship-driven company, and this position plays a critical role in keeping the financial side of the business organized and running smoothly.
