Full-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Ankeny Location
Rise Pediatric Therapy provides speech, occupational, and feeding therapy services to children and families across Central Iowa. Overview
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, and child-centered Occupational Therapist to join our growing Ankeny team full time! Alongside other occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and feeding therapists, you will collaborate within a supportive multidisciplinary environment while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for pediatric clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s strengths, needs, and goals
- Provide evidence-based, play-based therapy interventions targeting areas such as:
- Sensory processing
- Fine motor skills
- Emotional regulation
- Self-care and daily living skills
- Visual motor integration
- Coordination and motor planning
- Educate and collaborate closely with caregivers to support carryover at home and in the community
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech therapists, feeding therapists, physicians, teachers, and other providers
- Participate in team meetings, mentorship opportunities, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- 1–2 years of experience working with pediatric populations as an Occupational Therapist required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based, and play-based care
- Ability to work independently while also thriving within a collaborative team environment
