About the Role This role blends the best of both worlds: daily live learning sessions where you’ll lead fun, engaging lessons with your class, and flexible asynchronous work time to plan instruction, review student progress, and connect meaningfully with students and families. You’ll build strong relationships with your learners, monitor their academic growth, and collaborate with a team of curriculum experts and fellow educators to ensure each student has the resources and support they need to thrive. Your Immediate Impact Create a warm, engaging, and inclusive virtual classroom that meets daily for 30-minute live sessions designed to build community and spark curiosity Incorporate enrichment topics and state standards into daily meetings, focusing on connection, curiosity, and exposure to broader learning themes Facilitate virtual specials with optional extension activities that support continued engagement Use student data to personalize instruction, monitor progress, and support academic growth Collaborate with a team of curriculum and instructional experts to access high-quality materials and resources Engage in regular outreach and communication with students and families to build strong, supportive relationships Job Requirements: Current New Mexico teaching license, endorsed to teach between K-8 Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, a computer, and a webcam Expectation of 20-25 hours per week, including 8–10 hours of live instruction with students during core business hours of 9 am-3 pm MST. The remaining hours are flexible and can be completed asynchronously on your own schedule.
