RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a Pyschiatric Nurse Practitioner to support our OASAS-licensed rehabilitation program, RISE Above. A successful candidate will enjoy inspiring their team while ensuring the program residents are receiving excellent support during their time us, as they work toward recovery from their substance use diagnosis.
RISE offers a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- A competitive salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per year for a 20 hour per week schedule

Overview of Job Responsibilities:
- Performing psychiatric evaluations
- Reviewing and prescribing medications
- Supporting the supervision of medical/clinical staff
- Ensuring policy, procedure, and regulatory compliance
- Responding to crisis situations
To qualify you must have:
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certified through the NYS Department of Education
- 5 years of experience with individuals living with serious mental illness or a substance use diagnosis preferred
- An ability to remain calm under pressure while directing and inspiring team members
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal boundaries

- Successful completion of RISE background checks, a valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE automobile policy
