What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-Op HVAC/R position at RISE GROUP INC?
The Electrical Co-Op Apprentice will work under the supervision of a Journeymen Electrician performing the installation and retrofitting of Electrical equipment in a wide variety of commercial and industrial facilities.
This position requires strict adherence to company safety guidelines and practices, as well as maintaining a clean work site that minimally interferes with customers’ business operations. The position is based out of the Fall River, MA office.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Motivated and enjoy working in the Electrical Industry
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Must possess hand tools
• Good communication skills
• Enrolled in Electrical program at Technical High school.
• Skills in controls installation and troubleshooting or a willingness to learn
This position requires the employee to work both inside and outside. The employee may be subject to loud noises and hot and cold temperatures while on work site.

Physical Demands:
• Lifting weight up to and over 75 lbs. in both a vertical and horizontal range of motion.
• Crawl, stoop, stand, reach (push/pull) & bend to perform necessary work.
• Able to ascend and descend on extension ladders, step ladders and stairs using feet and/or hands and arms.
• Able to drive a company vehicle and walk around at job sites.
• Reading, computer input, typing and answering the phone.
• Clarity of vision at both over 20 feet and under 20 inches.
• Able to judge depth (distance & space relationships), have a good field of vision, and identify and distinguish colors.
• Adjustment of eye to bring object into sharp focus.
