Role Description This is a part or full-time CPA role based in Mapleton, UT, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The CPA will handle individual and business tax preparation, tax strategy and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. The role involves collaborating with internal team members and clients to deliver accurate, timely, and professional accounting services. The CPA will also assist with process improvements, support audits, and help maintain high-quality standards across client engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including general ledger management and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements in accordance with applicable standards.
- Expertise in Tax Preparation for individuals and businesses, with knowledge of current tax regulations.
- Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license - non-negotiable.
- Experience with accounting software and related tools (e.g., QuickBooks or similar platforms).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial information to clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both on-site and remote responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced coursework or certifications are a plus.
- Prior public accounting or client-facing experience is preferred.
