Job Summary

Rise Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Behavior Support Specialist – Intensive Services to fill a unique hybrid role combining ABA direct services with In-Home Behavioral Services (IHBS) Behavior Monitoring. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or experienced professionals who want stable hours, strong clinical support, and real advancement potential in behavioral health. You'll work directly with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and significant behavioral and safety needs — making a meaningful impact across home and community settings.

What You'll Do

  • Provide ABA direct services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Down Syndrome under BCBA supervision
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
  • Deliver Behavior Monitor services under the direction of a licensed IHBS clinician
  • Support caregivers with behavior strategies and skill development
  • Work across home and community settings
  • Prepare teaching materials and track behavioral targets
  • Complete weekly administrative tasks including collateral contact coordination and supervision meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, or related field.
  • Minimum experience — 1 year working with children
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (role involves home/community visits)
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ABA, special education, children with ASD or other disabilities and/or prior IHBS or in-home services experience
  • RBT certification or willingness to obtain
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday evenings, some mornings when possible
  • Pay: $48,000-$58,000 annually
  • Location: West Springfield, MA — home and community-based (travel required)

Pay: $27.60 per hour
