About the Job
Rise Baking Company, LLC is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of quality control procedures to minimize defects and improve overall product quality.
- Supervise and train Quality Assurance Technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Investigate and resolve any quality issues or concerns that arise during production.
- Ensure compliance with GFSI (BRC or SQF preferred), internal auditing, cGMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Control, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP and PCQI, or willingness to become certified.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
