Job Title: Sports Performance Coach
Location: Rise Athletics, Winter Garden, Florida
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible)
Compensation: $20 hr (based on experience) opportunities for additional income through personal training and specialty programs

We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Sports Performance Coach to join our team—someone who can design and lead speed, quickness, and agility sessions, coach proper strength and movement mechanics, and help athletes perform at their highest level.
This role is ideal for a coach who wants to build and grow a full performance program—working closely with other Program Directors and contributing to the long-term development of our sports performance department.
What You’ll Do
- Design and lead small-group speed, quickness, and agility training sessions
- Coach strength and conditioning sessions for athletes across various sports and age groups
- Build individualized training progressions that develop movement efficiency, explosiveness, and injury resilience
- Communicate clearly and confidently with athletes, parents, and teams
- Maintain a clean, professional, and motivating training environment
- Collaborate with other coaches to align programming and athlete development systems
- Opportunity to coach personal training clients, assist with team training, and develop specialty programs
Qualifications
Required:
- CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist)
- Proven ability to teach and cue sprint mechanics, acceleration, change of direction, and agility drills
- Strong understanding of strength training principles and periodization
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for athlete development and long-term progress
- Ability to coach mornings, evenings, or weekends (flexible schedule)
Preferred:
- Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
- Previous experience coaching youth, high school, or collegiate athletes
- Background in sports such as football, track & field, or basketball
- Certifications such as USATF, USAW, or NASM PES
- Experience working in a private performance facility
