The Mission:
Deliver top-quality parts—every single time.
What Success Looks Like
✔️ You manage and track cutting tool inventory across multiple CNC cells.
✔️ You preset and replace tools efficiently to minimize downtime.
✔️ You work closely with machinists and programmers to ensure the right tools are always ready.
✔️ You maintain an organized tool crib and clean, efficient tool prep area.
✔️ You help keep machines running at peak performance by monitoring tool life and usage.
Key Skills & Traits for Success
✅ Attention to detail – You know that even the smallest tool issue can affect the final product.
✅ Self-motivated – You take initiative and don’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
✅ Organized – You keep tools labeled, stocked, and ready to go.
✅ Mechanically inclined – You understand how tools work and what each one is used for.
✅ Process-minded – You track usage, suggest improvements, and help reduce tool waste.
✅ Ownership mentality – You take responsibility for tool readiness and performance.
Preferred Experience
2 years of CNC or tooling experience
Comfortable using presetters like Zoller and heat shrink systems
Familiar with G-code, M-code, Fanuc, and HAAS CNC controls
Able to read blueprints and understand precision measuring tools
Experience with ERP systems is a plus
