General Labor (Warehouse)

Monday - Thursday

Production Support

• Load product into machines for processing.
• Assist in verifying weights of raw product for the packaging process.
• Assist in verifying all ingredients being loaded match the production work order and bag labels.
• Obtain packaging materials and load machines with film; ensure correct film is used.
• Observe machine performance during production and report any irregularities.
• Maintain efficient operation with minimal waste or loss of product.

Quality & Safety

• Notify machine operator or production manager of any product that does not meet quality or safety standards.
• Notify machine operator or production manager of any equipment issues.
• All staff must report known food safety issues to supervisor immediately.
• All staff have the authority to place on hold product and equipment that does not meet food safety standards.
• Follow all hygiene and safety requirements (hand washing, required clothing, hair nets, etc.).

Packaging & Palletizing

• Receive packages from machine and load them into cases.
• Ensure the correct number of packages is placed in each case; then seal cases.
• Palletize cases as instructed by the line operator.
• Assist with counting the number of cases produced.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Assist with equipment and facility maintenance.
• Assist with cleaning machines, components, floors, sinks, etc., as required.

Additional

• Follow prescribed safety and cleanliness procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
• Must comply with all safety, cleanliness, and hygiene requirements at all times.

Abilities Required:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders/steps and work on elevated platforms.
• Ability to work with machinery, including handling small tools and performing assembly/disassembly of equipment.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
