We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a busy food‑manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, keeping production equipment running smoothly, and ensuring a safe, reliable operation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production machinery (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic)
- Respond to line stoppages and diagnose root‑cause issues
- Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and equipment inspections
- Support facility utilities (HVAC, boilers, steam lines, plumbing, electrical)
- Safely dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Document work orders and track parts/material usage
- Communicate clearly with production and maintenance leadership
- Assist with installations and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and packaging equipment
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems (sensors, relays, motors, panels)
- Familiarity with HVAC, boilers, and plant utilities
- Ability to read work orders, SOPs, and safety guidelines
- Welding, fabrication, and general hand‑tool proficiency
- Able to work independently and follow escalation procedures
- Comfortable working in cold or freezer areas when needed
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
