Elementary School Teacher - Grade 5

RISE is seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Homeroom Teacher. This position responsibilities generally include teaching upper elementary courses, assessing student progress, maintaining a positive classroom environment, collaborating with faculty on curriculum development, and participating in school activities and professional development.. The ideal candidate will foster a love for teaching while helping students develop strong communication, analytical, and writing skills.

• Responsibilities

✅ Teach core English, Math and Science for 5th Grade level students through engaging lesson plans

✅ Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, with the ability to align curriculum with academic standard

✅ Incorporate Islamic values and ethical perspectives where appropriate

✅ Differentiate instruction to support students with various learning styles and abilities

✅ Encourage critical thinking and strong written and verbal communication through essays, projects, and discussions

✅ Implement the RISE Student Learner Profile to foster intellectual curiosity and personal growth

✅ Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities

✅ Maintain strong classroom management and build positive relationships with student

✅ Participate in ongoing training and professional development

• Qualification

✔ Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field

✔ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to serve as a positive role mode

✔ Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skill
