We’re seeking an energetic Commercial Account Executive to drive new business across the Northeastern United States, with a focus on the Finance (banking, fintech, insurance), Technology, and Manufacturing industries. This is a high-impact role for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, owning the full sales cycle, and helping organizations strengthen their cyber defenses.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own and drive the full new-business sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and close
  • Target, engage, and convert Commercial accounts (<$1.5B in revenue) across:
  • Finance (banking, fintech, insurance)
  • Technology
  • Manufacturing
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner collaboration, networking, and industry events
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demos that communicate business value and cybersecurity impact
  • Develop territory strategies to penetrate new organizations, expand engagement, and accelerate revenue growth
  • Develop account strategies to expand existing customer relationships by building consensus across departments and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation campaigns, vertical outreach, and targeted industry events
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to position the right solutions and ensure smooth customer onboarding
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within CRM platforms
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and regional forums
  • Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments impacting target industries


What We Need From You

  • Reside in the Northeastern United States
  • 3–7 years of B2B sales experience; cybersecurity or adjacent technology experience preferred
  • Proven track record of new-logo acquisition and consistent quota attainment
  • Experience selling into one or more of the following industries:
  • Banking / Financial Services
  • Insurance
  • Manufacturing
  • Technology
  • Strong ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders including IT, Security, Compliance, and Operations teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate business value
  • Strong prospecting discipline and ability to independently generate pipeline
  • Experience building executive-level relationships and translating business challenges into cybersecurity solutions
  • Data-driven approach to forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management
  • High energy, self-motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • CRM proficiency


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity challenges within the financial sector including compliance, threat intelligence, and data governance
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust
  • Experience working with channel and partner ecosystems
  • Understanding of file security, device security, OT environments, or data-intensive industries
  • Interest in pursuing cybersecurity certifications

Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
