R.A.P.I.D. Teams are RIPROCK’s elite hydro excavation crews built for emergency mobilization, critical infrastructure support, and time-sensitive projects across the United States.
RIPROCK LLC is a veteran-owned hydro excavation contractor based in Kuna, Idaho. Our R.A.P.I.D. crews deploy nationwide to support contractors, utilities, municipalities, pipeline contractors, power companies, and major infrastructure operations that require experienced crews immediately.
This is not an entry-level position.
We are looking for highly experienced Hydrovac Operators who can safely and efficiently perform under pressure, adapt to changing conditions, and represent RIPROCK professionally anywhere in the country.
What R.A.P.I.D. Teams Do
R.A.P.I.D. crews are built to mobilize at a moment’s notice for:
Emergency utility incidents
Time-sensitive excavation work
Disaster response support
Critical infrastructure projects
Out-of-state deployments
Remote and demanding job sites
Large pipeline, power, telecom, and utility projects
What We Expect
R.A.P.I.D. Team operators:
Know how to operate hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Are willing to travel nationwide for extended periods
Understand that availability and urgency matter
Can handle long hours and demanding schedules
Stay professional under pressure
Respect customer timelines, budgets, and jobsite expectations
Take pride in their equipment, work ethic, and appearance
Understand that the mission is not complete until the customer is taken care of

Requirements
Prior hydrovac operating experience REQUIRED
CDL required
Ability to travel nationwide
Flexible scheduling and availability REQUIRED
Ability to work overtime and extended shifts
Ability to work in extreme weather and difficult environments
Professional attitude and strong communication skills
Physically capable of demanding field work

Expected hours: 40 – 84 per week
