THE WORK
As a Ripple intern, you will work on challenges that impact our mission and shape our company. With support from your team, access to learning and development resources, and opportunities for fun along the way, our program will give you the foundation to start your career journey.
As a Data Scientist Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a best-in-class data team and contribute to the analysis and interpretation of sophisticated on-chain data. Your work will play a crucial role in driving business decisions and crafting the future of blockchain technology. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in working with on-chain data and exploring the innovative world of web3.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Preprocess on-chain data using SQL and PySpark to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
- Perform exploratory data analysis using Python notebooks and Git, uncovering valuable insights and patterns.
- Experiment with statistical modeling techniques using Python notebooks and machine learning tools in Databricks, predicting trends in metrics.
- Build visually engaging and insightful visualizations using tools like Tableau, optimally conveying data insights to relevant individuals or groups.
- Currently pursuing a Graduate degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, research methods, statistics, computer science, or another highly relevant field of study.
- Proven experience in manipulating datasets through script-based languages like R or Python.
- Proficiency in SQL, allowing you to efficiently extract and analyze data.
- Strong understanding of statistical principles and experience analyzing large datasets using methods such as regression, clustering, and dimension reduction.
- Passionate about learning about crypto and web3, with a desire to contribute to the future of blockchain technology.
For positions that will be based in CA, the hourly range for this position is below. Actual rates may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.
CA Hourly Rate Range: $48 USD - $50.50 USD
