Position Summary:
Ripple 2 Wave Foundation is looking for a creative and purpose-driven Social Impact Messenger to lead our digital presence and amplify the stories that move hearts—and communities. This role merges the strategy of a digital marketer with the storytelling heart of a social media manager. You’ll build community, grow awareness, and mobilize action by crafting compelling content that reflects our mission, values, and the powerful ripples we’re making every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a content strategy across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Create and curate engaging, on-brand content that tells the story of our programs, impact, and community partnerships
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and real-time moments to join timely conversations with authenticity
- Manage social media calendar and campaigns aligned with organizational goals and key initiatives
- Design basic graphics, edit short videos, and write impactful captions with strong calls to action
- Use analytics tools to track engagement, optimize performance, and inform strategy
- Coordinate with Media Relations Director, Multimedia Coordinator, Executive Director and Volunteer Supervisor to amplify events, volunteer opportunities, and success stories
- Support email marketing, newsletters, and digital fundraising campaigns
- Engage with followers, respond to messages, and cultivate a vibrant online community
- Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all digital channels
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications (nonprofit experience a plus)
- Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and visual content skills
- Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, scheduling platforms, etc.)
- Strong eye for design, detail, and tone
- Data-driven mindset with ability to read analytics and adjust content accordingly
- Passion for community building, equity, and the ripple-to-wave power of collective action
