What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology position at RIPON COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES?
Ripon College invites applications for a two-year full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology starting August 2027.
The successful candidate will teach Microbiology and will contribute to a curriculum supporting biology, biomedical science, and biochemistry majors, including but not limited to Introductory Biology and an upper-division course in the area of expertise. Experience in public health or epidemiology is desired, but not required. All Ripon College faculty advise students, provide service to the college, and contribute to the distinctive Catalyst core curriculum. The expected teaching load is 6 courses per year or equivalent and mentoring senior thesis research projects. Successful applicants will have teaching experience, the ability to mentor undergraduate senior research theses, and a completed Ph. D. by August 2027.

Required Qualifications:
