Our large Mid Atlantic commercial construction company is seeking a Solar Energy Operations Manager to lead our solar energy division. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the solar energy business, with specific expertise in the installation of both commercial and residential solar energy systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the solar energy division, including project management, installation, and maintenance of solar energy systems.
- Prepare commercial solar installation proposals for the Company's commercial clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with sales channels and financing sources for the residential installations
- Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- At least five years of experience in the solar energy business, with a specific expertise in the installation of both commercial and residential solar energy systems
- Experience preparing commercial solar installation proposals for commercial clients
- Knowledge of sales channels and financing sources for residential installations
- Up-to-date knowledge of all economic incentives available to both commercial and residential customers when installing a solar system
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
