The Press Brake Operator plays a hands-on role in our sheet metal fabrication operations. You will be responsible for processing and bending sheet metal to precise specifications, using Amada and Mitsubishi press brake machines, ensuring quality parts are produced safely and on time.
Location: 1505 W. 3rd Avenue, Denver, CO 80223 (We're located in the Baker neighborhood of Denver)
Work Hours: 5:00 AM to 1:45 PM (with Overtime)

What You'll Be Doing
- Champion a "Safety First" culture by modeling safe practices and promoting safety awareness across the team.
- Set up and operate Amada and Mitsubishi press brake machines to bend sheet metal to specification.
- Read and interpret prints, diagrams, and work orders to make proper machine and tooling adjustments.
- Retrieve and load programs using the machine computer in accordance with drawings and CAD/CAM files.
- Partner with QC Inspectors on First Article Inspections and correct defects as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance per the Operation Manual to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Accurately complete fabrication records and traveler papers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, machine, and tooling.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certificate preferred.
- 3–4 years of experience operating Amada press brakes or similar equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret prints, specifications, and diagrams.
- Strong shop math skills and units of measurement knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods in an active manufacturing facility.
- Ability to regularly lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to electrical hazards.
- Exposure to moderate-to-high noise levels and varying temperatures.
- PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
- Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
- Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
