About The Role
We are looking to add a Miner Maintenance Technician 1 to our growing Miner Maintenance Department. As a Miner Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting Bitcoin miners. This on-site position will directly support our miner maintenance operations at our Rockdale, TX location. The scheduled shift for this role is Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM.

About The Role
We are looking to add a Miner Maintenance Technician 1 to our growing Miner Maintenance Department. As a Miner Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting Bitcoin miners. This on-site position will directly support our miner maintenance operations at our Rockdale, TX location. The scheduled shift for this role is Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform basic diagnostic techniques to all miners on-site.
- Perform basic repair techniques to all miners on-site.
- Assist in keeping inventory of miners, parts, and tools.
- Find IP addresses of all new machines that are being installed into shelves.
- Provide complete information for work orders to be submitted to supervisor.
- Keep the miner repair room and work area clean and organized.
- Craft new RJ-45 connections.
- Be confident when reciting terminology that is relevant in the industry.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to bring attention clearly and promptly to any major errors in the Data Center that involve the Miner Maintenance team.
- High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience.
- Experience with Networking and Computer troubleshooting is preferred.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Miner repair/Operator Certifications are a plus.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required.
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and pull, with good manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 pounds)
- Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
- Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures
- PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
- Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
- Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
