Position Description

Rios Partners is seeking a Transformation Consultant to support a large-scale organizational transformation initiative for an international client. This role will support project teams delivering transformation design and implementation planning across multiple workstreams, including organizational design, operating model design, workforce planning, business process improvement, governance, program management, and change management. Consultants will conduct analyses, develop client-ready deliverables, facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, and contribute to the successful execution of project objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with consulting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

This position is based in Arlington, Virginia, and follows a hybrid work schedule. While work will primarily be performed during U.S. business hours, candidates must be comfortable supporting occasional early morning or evening meetings to coordinate with global stakeholders and project teams.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred; Top 20 MBA or similar preferred
  • 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, organizational transformation, business operations, public sector advisory, or global affairs
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level strategy, operating model design, or large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
  • Experience developing executive-ready presentations, reports, and briefings for senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and in multicultural, international environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI-enabled tools to improve research, analysis, content development, and productivity
  • Ability to review and refine AI-generated outputs for quality and accuracy

Consultants in this role must be able to:

  • Structure complex problems and identify key risks, and strategic opportunities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Develop practical recommendations that align long-term objectives with operational realities
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality materials in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for senior leaders, including briefings, presentations, and strategic updates
  • Build credibility with clients and stakeholders through clear communication, sound judgment, and professionalism
  • Translate strategy into implementation by supporting planning, coordination, and execution across multiple workstreams
  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and operate effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Work effectively with stakeholders and team members across multiple time zones

Additional Information

At Rios Partners, we believe that when our team thrives, our company thrives. That’s why we’re proud to offer a comprehensive and best-in-class benefits package that reflects how much we value our people. Below is an overview of the benefits available to our employees:

Profit-Sharing / Performance Bonus

We believe in shared success. That’s why a portion of company profits is distributed to employees each year through our Profit-Sharing/Performance Bonus program. The total amount may vary based on market conditions, company performance, and individual contributions—but the goal remains the same: to reward the team for our collective achievements.

Retirement Plan (401k)

We help you plan for your future. Rios Partners contributes 3% of your base salary each month to a 401(k) retirement plan, regardless of whether you choose to contribute yourself. You may also make additional contributions. Our 401(k) plan is administered through Fidelity, a leader in retirement planning.

Health Insurance (ICHRA)

We offer flexibility and choice through an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA). With ICHRA, Rios Partners contributes tax-free dollars toward your health insurance premiums, allowing you to select the plan that fits your needs rather than being restricted to a one-size-fits-all group plan.

Vision Insurance

We offer vision coverage through MetLife to help you care for your eye health. The plan includes benefits for eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, and more.

Dental Insurance

Dental coverage through MetLife is provided at no cost to you or your dependents. You also have the option to upgrade to a higher-tier plan if desired.

Disability Insurance

Rios Partners provides both short-term and long-term disability insurance at no cost to you. This coverage, offered through MetLife, ensures that you're protected in case of illness or injury that prevents you from working.

Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays

We value work-life balance. You’ll receive:

  • 15 days of PTO annually, with additional days based on your tenure
  • 12 paid holidays per year
  • Additional paid time off for life events such as bereavement, jury duty, and voting

Parental Leave (Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption)

Welcoming a child is a major life milestone, and we’re here to support you. Eligible employees receive 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for birth, adoption, or foster care placements. This benefit is available to team members who have been employed full-time for at least 12 months and are in good standing.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Your well-being matters. Our EAP, provided through Health Advocate, offers confidential support for personal and professional challenges—including mental health counseling, substance abuse, parenting support, grief counseling, and more. Work/life resources and healthcare navigation assistance are also included.

Training and Development

Rios Partners is committed to helping you achieve your highest potential. Our personal view is that this is best accomplished through a combination of client engagements, opportunities to take on new roles within the team, and internal (team) / external (expert) training.
