Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. This role will support both primary care and infusion therapy services, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care under physician supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient intake, assessments, and vital signs
- Administer IV infusions, injections, and biologic therapies as ordered by MD
- Monitor patients during infusion treatments for safety and adverse reactions
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with exams and procedures
- Coordinate care plans for chronic disease management and wellness services
- Conduct medication reconciliation and prior authorizations as needed
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and nursing records
- Manage infusion supplies, medication inventory, and treatment room readiness
- Support preventative care, annual wellness visits, and patient follow-up
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, infection control, and clinical protocols
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in:
- Primary care
- Internal medicine
- Family practice
- Infusion therapy
- Outpatient clinic settings
- IV insertion and infusion therapy experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of biologics, hydration therapy, and vitamin infusions preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
- EMR proficiency
