Warehouse Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Inventory Control Manager & Branch Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain Positive Control of Inventory through fencing and securing access
• Handle Daily Parts Request and Transfers
• Data entry, including but not limited to: Inter-company Transfers, Receivables, Invoices, Purchase Orders, etc.
• Shipping – packaging and setting up pickups and deliveries
• Receiving – all incoming orders, verify parts and PO matching, check for damaged equipment
• Stocking all parts and maintaining an organized inventory cage
• Purchasing – stock orders and job specific orders
• Develop parts handling procedures from receipt of order to shipment or distribution of systems
• Analyze warehouse area for strategic configuration, organization and growth
• Maintain a clean and safe inventory area
• Develop and maintain an efficient Inventory Control Plan
• Manage Driver to deliver part to technicians in field or to customers locations and pickups from vendors
Qualifications:
• Education
o High School or Equivalent
• Physical
o Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances.
o Ability to carry 30lbs overhead
o Ability to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in height
o Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time
o Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
• Personal Background
• Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must have clean driving record with NO DWI convictions
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
Practical Experience:
• Previous experience in warehouse environment
• Ability to key in data, type, and operate a computer keyboard
• Good communications skills
• Professional manner in dealing with other employees, management and customers
• Organizational Skills
• Basic mechanical skills
