Rio Grande Urology is seeking a dynamic, patient-focused, self-starter to lead our clinical operations in a new Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed RN with a minimum of three years of ambulatory surgery center OR other healthcare surgical experience. In this leadership role, the selected candidate will have a direct impact on the stability, success, and growth of the center. Job Summary
Supervises daily clinical operations of the facility and manages the clinical and clerical staff in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation regulations and guidelines, as well as established Rio Grande Surgery Center policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities in preoperative, postoperative and intraoperative. Purchasing of required supplies, controlled drugs, and equipment. Responsible for staff development, orientation and staff discipline and appraisals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
1. Current Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS.
2. Minimum three (3) years of ambulatory surgery or other healthcare facility surgical clinical experience as a registered nurse OR
Preferred
3. Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree
4. Urology Experience in OR Circulating and/or pre/post operative nursing duties.
5. One (1) years of administrative/management experience.
