Job Purpose
The Residence Inn/ SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Downtown Greenville is seeking motivated Room Attendants for their hotel. The purpose of the Guest Room Attendant is to ensure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for product cleanliness. The Guest Room Attendant must ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to our guest needs.
Essential Job Functions
- Knows and follows establishes cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for guest rooms according to Auro Hotels’ and brand standards.
- Assist colleagues when own workstation is complete.
- Properly uses all cleaning fluids and supplies.
- Properly place guest amenities; e.g., toilet paper, tissues, guest service directories, and turndown amenities.
- Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management.
- Knows and actively practices the hotel’s emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
- Sorts, counts, folds, marks, and carries linens.
- Make beds (triple sheeting) with clean sheets in excellent condition and dust furniture.
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
- Move furniture, hang drapes, roll carpets, and replace light bulbs.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Sweep and scrub floors.
- Perform all duties in safe manner and monitor actions of others.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Sweep patio and balconies.

Experience/Education
- High School Diploma Preferred.
- 1-2 years experience as a Guest Room Attendant
